There are times that you feel down and the weather outside is dreary and rainy. Then you remember the birthday invitation that you received and your spirit brightens. This Tuesday night December 29th I got to go to Joe Vitale's 56th birthday celebration at the Joe Vitale Cigar Bar in Wimberley, Texas.
We were treated to fantastic live music by Sarah Marie who performed an "aria" at Joe's autograph book signing event in November. What a vocal talent, this evenings treat was her gift to Joe of an Italian rendition of Happy Birthday, totally awesome.
The birthday cake was a master creation from "the hunters-wife" bakery. The cake was shaped like a cigar and decorated so well that it looked real to everyone except Pat O'bryan who thought it looked like a cigar box. Pat tried to pick it up and look at it and the rest is history.
There were many talented and amazing people in attendance. There was one fellow who had started a camp for children that included programs of magic, juggling and puppetry. He treated us to a juggling lesson using the salt and pepper shakers from the table.
Attending the birthday party for Joe Vitale, such a giving person who has helped so many, made my day.
